AFS is a great shop that is super reliable resource for FFL transfers, for both private and online purchases. Their processing time for receiving an online order from another retailer was super quick and painless. They're also a great resource for suppressors.

I have been dealing with Steve for years even before he opened up the Oregon City store and highly recommend him for purchases and transfers. His transfer fee is the lowest in the area and has helped sources several suppressors along with some firearms for me at a great price. He also has a good selection of firearms and suppressors for sale at fair prices.

Did a swap with another member today. Never been to AFS but seen quite a few members mention it. The guy I was trading with lived out in that direction so I figured I would travel that way and check AFS out. Sure glad I did! We got there as it opened and were helped quickly. Chad was the person who helped us and he was cordial, professional and actually knew what he was doing. This transfer went quickly for both our parties and the cost was $20 apiece. $10 for the background check and $10 for the transfer. That is the BEST DEAL in the Portland area. If I need to make a transfer again in that area of town, that's where I will go. GOOD JOB AFS!

I truly went here last minute needing a FFL for a P2P transfer, and these guys took care of us immediately. It was an instant transfer, low price, easy transaction with friendly folks. I assume this shop makes their money on niche products and services more than tightly packed walls of firearms and accessories sold at retail. It's not so much a grand gallery as big box stores, but the things they did have in stock were very high end.

Gave me the impression they would rather have a customer for life than make a quick buck for the moment. Will shop there again. Steve and crew would rather research and look for the right item for their customer than try to sell them something off the shelf. Great shop!

In times of gun transfers it's been easy to get in for an appointment to do so.
And when I've purchased; they were easy in accepting my firearm and getting in to start the background check.

Have done a few transactions at AFS, will be my goto local shop
