Hi,
I'm taking down my M91 to remove the cosmoline, and have run into a fastener that is preventing me from removing the butt stock. This is recessed within the stock some 4", so it was difficult to get a good picture with the phone cam. At first I thought it was just a metric cap screw that I could remove with a long handled 3-4 mm Allen wrench (I would have to go out and purchase a set), but upon closer inspection it appears the cap screw doesn't have a hex element to it from what I can feel probing with a metal rod. The slots behind this pseudo screw appear to be the means to torque the fastener in place, which must be 3-4" in length to thread into the rear receiver extension. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JP9
