This has been one of my favorites, especially enjoy taking it to a match and show my friends. If you take a close look you'll see the pins are dimpled, the RET is cross-pinned, it has 12-1/2" barrel with faux moderator pinned and welded bringing the overall barrel length to 16-3/4". That item sandwiched between the moderator and barrel is a grenade ring (provided friction for launching the earliest of the rifle grenades).

The rifle configuration includes a Daniel Defense M4 12.5" 1:7 barrel as it was the only manufacturer I could find whose barrel length (when mated with the moderator) looked proportional to the original.
Note the rectangular pad on the ejection cover and the straight slip ring, AND the horizontal striations on the magazine release. Two-stage NM trigger (RRA).
Old Colt gray finish match on all parts, dimpled selector, bolt lock with angled and checkered bottom, Colt RET lock ring with round hole for tightening, etc. It's got a lot of older features reminiscent of a time long ago.
