Inherited several WW11 items from my grandfather. Included are a pair of binoculars. Not sure if they where US issue or Japanese.
He was in the Phillipines, then Japan.

Japanese and I believe that trademark is early Fuji (of fuji film fame) but I can't find that exact trademark.

We are up to 11 now? Man I took a long nap.

Fuji make a huge amount of optic for Japan during the war, between them and Nippon I think that accounts for like 90% or more of all Japan's optics production. Just by shear statistics I am pretty sure it is one of those ;-)

That's what I was wondering about. I thought we were on the verge of 3.....apparently I fell asleep also......
