Hello friends,
It's probably obvious where this came from to some of you, but I do not know.
Steel scabbard, the number 4493 is on the butt end of the bayonet.
It appears to be a bakelite type handle.
The barrel mounting holes are 5/8" to11/16" in diameter.


1. Can someone tell me what it is from?
2. If it is similar value, I'd like to trade for a solid M28 bayonet from a Finnish Mosin Nagant.

Looks to be a plain common AK Bayonet to me. (I may be wrong)
If it is, value would probably be about the same I would guess.

Ah, it could be. It doesn't fit my Hunter AK47, so I'll check with a friend's AK next time we go shooting.

It's a type 1 bayo (Russian, Polish, Bulgarian....definitely not Chinese but there are Chinese variants, yours is some type of Euro). Are there any proof marks on the cross guard or pommel?
