I'm helping with a budget build for a friend. He has a commercial buffer tube, and I don't have a spare buttstock for that size tube. Thought I'd ask here, if anyone has a commercial tube standard style 6 position black AR buttstock they want to part with cheaply? Alternatively, a mil-spec buffer tube would accommodate the buttstock I have. I hoped to get the Challis gun show this weekend, but the arrival of my first Grandson, looks like it will preempt that trip.

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
Another solution might be a used Rogers Superstoc "Deluxe." They will fit either tube type (same stock). They do make a mil-spec only model now but the original design (now called "deluxe") fits either. I picked up a used one a few weeks ago for $20. They are also a superb stock on a carbine tube - no movement unlike almost everything else. The one I got was set up for mil-spec and I switched it to commercial in a few minutes on a Windham. They also look good imho, and have a lot of sling tie points and a built-in QD point if desired.

I was considering refinishing an A1 rifle stock for this gun because most adjustable stocks annoy me so much. This one does not - very solid.
