I probably have 100 rounds of loose ammo in the truck....



And really, this is the headline they go with? Not any of the other offenses? 100 rounds is two boxes of plinking ammo, which would not even be a whole range session for most shooters. It is an entirely unremarkable amount of ammo.the guy didn't even have a means to fire any of it.

Honestly it was probably spoils from robbery. He could not get into the safe to get the gun, so he just grabbed what he could from around the safe; ammo, a few mags and a spare barrel. The cops need to ID the owner and return his property.

I absolutely dare them to come here and even get close to an accurate number of how many rounds of ammo I have. Unlike some its not all the same in nice neat boxes. Its all over the place in Ammo cans Wood boxes Paper boxes Plastic boxes stored in a dozen places and Not even assembled yet.

I guess I just won't be a Heroin Dealer breaking into places to give them a reason their time is valuable I understand and then wasting a couple days trying to count .22rimfire I bought in the 80's would just be silly.

C'mon guys!!! He had a barrel. A set of vice grips and a hammer and we could have had a massacre. Clearly 'intent' has been established; 'attempted murder' can be implied.
