A man from Holyoke was arrested and charged with various offenses after police found over 100 rounds of ammunition and other contraband during a property check on Maple Street.

A book bag belonging to Rodriguez-Tejada was searched and revealed more than 100 rounds of ammunition, two 9mm firearm magazines, a 9mm gun barrel and a knife.

Rodriguez-Tejada is charged with the following:

• Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
• Breaking and Entering into a Building – Nighttime for a Felony
• Possession of a Class A Drug – Subsequent Offense

Notice in the list of things in the bag what is glaringly missing- A GUN. He had mags, ammo, and a barrel(??) . . . No gun. And funny they dont include in the main list or on the photos the THREE BAGS of HEROIN.

Guarantee he also had an illegal gun, which he probably chucked when they chased him, and is probably sitting in a bush somewhere. . .

Ha....Pyrodex.....never....now 3 pounds of GOEX Balck powder....yep.....

Seriously never use Pyrodex with a flintlock...it does not burn hot enough for consistent ignition.
You will get the infamous "flash in the pan"...or a hang fire if Pryodex is used with a flintlock.

This is not say that the above won't happen with actual black powder...
Just saying that it will happen far more often with Pyrodex and a flintlock.
