I bought some last year but I have not used them yet, the idea I had was to use them to clamp down ammo cans to a pickup bed or inside the cab behind the pickup seat.

I bought this deal too because I need more to latch down the canopy that came with my new(ish) pickup - or at least I think they will work for that. If not I always have other things to latch down. It looks like they can also be "locked".
