Unless I am wrong, and I have been before, this is considered a DA/SA pistol. It can be Single Action on the first shot as well if the hammer is cocked, either by racking the slide or manually cocking it. Your description could be considered inaccurate or misleading (not intentional on your part I know) by some. Confusing anyway. It operates as any DA/SA pistol does.
