I have a trifecta of US cavalry saber reproductions for sale. These are Windlass Steelcrafts made in India and are marketed as "battle ready" which means they are constructed to withstand actual use like target cutting, although they are not sharpened (ideal for reenactments). Obviously never cut with.
1840 heavy cavalry saber - "Old Wristbreaker" is 1065 tempered steel with good distal taper and a peened pommel. It is a heavy beast. $125 SOLD
1860 light cavalry saber - Shorter and lighter updated model of the above. $100 SPF SOLD
1913 Patton saber - French based thrusting design by 2LT Patton. Best issued obsolete sword ever. Great for horse work? I don't have one. $150
French infantry briquet - This is a Deepeeka made in India EN45 spring steel (similar to 9260). It is munitions grade from Kult of Athena with a robust blade in a solid brass knuckle guard and an upgraded peened pommel (standard models are threaded nut). Sharpened 25degrees secondary bevel on true and false edge so just use the thick spine for saberage. $60
1860 light cavalry saber - Shorter and lighter updated model of the above. $100 SPF
