Semi-auto handguns, revolvers in 357 up to 4 inch barrel, 12g HD shotgun are a few things that come to mind. But I'd consider other trades too.

Appears to be an "American hardwood" (maple or such) stock, rather than walnut: true? I know that later '94's with the hardwood stock were marked "Ranger", but was not aware the maple stocks (an economizing feature) were done on guns of this vintage.
