Winchester Model 88 $500 Sold

This is a Winchester 88 in 308 Win. caliber. It has the rotating bolt. It has rust damage on the exterior metal. The bore is clean and the stock is sold with no cracks or major damage. This rifle was produced in 1955, the first year of production and has an 11,000+ serial number. Due to the rust, I decided to use an aggressive rust remover and remove all of the bluing then hand rub in a good penetrating oil to fill the pores. (for cosmetic purposes) The area where the front sight used to be has had some repair work on the surface. It has a cheap 2 1/2 X 8 scope on it. Comes with one detachable magazine. Although not very pretty, it should be ready to hunt game.
