While there is NO denying the advantages of a receiver peep sight (especially coupled with a globe front), sometimes 'simplicity' works well !
This is a standard Marbles flip down rear sight. Obviously nothing fancy but with a gold bead front it gives a very nice sight picture.
Often just getting rid of an 'overstated' Buckhorn sight and swapping it out with something simple makes a BIG diff! Some of the Buckhorns I have see are pretty 'gaudy' and take away from a good sight picture.
