I don't think that is vintage circa 1941, as it doesn't have all the features appropriate to that period. It lacks the take-down lever which was deleted on later guns. This one is a Grade III made 1943-44. Serial number prefix would tell us more. Note the hollow roll pins, another sign of later manufacture. Someone painted the black grips red which has partly worn off. BUT: Like so much WW2 German stuff, prices of these have gotten crazy in the last 20 years. I like these but I wouldn't pay what they go for now, just not worth it to me. I'm only willing to pay so much for history, then no more. In the 1970's I had about 15 of these, starting with a Polish Eagle dated 1936, with variations all the way through to one of the last ones assembled in Austria with the green phosphate finish. I collected these just before Drollinger's book informed the masses that these were cool and historic and they could be bought for $65 or less. This is a design that was never put into production again after WW2. There have been a few hand-made examples made in Europe but those are one-offs.I also have a 1941 radom vis 35 9mm
