I am selling my Winchester 1897 12ga full choke shotgun. I am selling this as a collector's piece. The finish has a nice pitena to it and the stock is in good condition. There is a little play in the takedown area. The action has a lite trigger and if stroked in a wrong fashion the hammer comes back up into half cock. For this reason if you plan to use it as a shooter I recommend you have it examined by a Gun Smith. I have shot it a bit for fun in the past, but it has been sitting for almost a decade and I want room in my safe. Fun Fact: in the cavity of the butt stock there is an old hunting license from the 20's or 30's. I am asking $500 cash and that the buyer covers all fees and shipping if it is to be shipped.
