I won't be making it up there, but that sure brings back the memories. Greene's was my hangout when I was there in the Navy. Richard and Jackie were still alive. Tell Greg & Claudette "Bill George Says Hi".

Just a reminder....
This rendezvous is August 9th , 10th and 11th.
Friday and Saturday will be the best days to go.
Lots to see and do.. it is open and free to public visitors
Hope to see y'all there.
Andy

Andy, you gonna have some pics? Wish we coulda made it up there (pretty sure the grandkids would've enjoyed it); we have great memories of our years in Oak Harbor and a lotta visits to Greene's (and the North Whidbey Gun Club).

@Old Dog
I will try to post some pictures that I took ...
Was very busy both days...lots of visitors and lots of interaction with them and what I had on display.
Two tables of antique items or items that I made...and only me to man the tables.

@Old Dog

Cool stuff, Andy! Thank you. I'm really wishing I could have taken one of the grandkids up there, she's got a definite interest in American history ("the old days") and it gives the youngsters great perspective on what the early days with the primitive weapons were like.

Thank you.
I enjoy talking about and demonstrating what is shown in the photos.

It would have been great to meet you and your grandkids....Maybe next year....

I do occasionally have a random weekend showing there at Greene's....I'll let you know when that happens if you would like.
