- Just from my grip and stance your 100% I can't connect ? I'm no Pistol champ but the dueling tree paddles still flip 75% or better depending on pistol.
- I don't have my CC, I'm never really out and about. My house is 600ft from where I sit all day and wait for a problem. 13 acres pretty far out and isolated. 30min from stores, gyms, etc. The alarms going off in the middle of the night are really my only concern. And no reason to grab the old glock. Tho I don't have any issues ringing the man target with the old G20/21.
-JGS is a 44 year old process that hardly changes due to the product being so good to begin with. If I take on projects that get me out in the shop for any decent amount of time I end up missing the fires that pop up. Even if I'm on the lower level I still miss out on what's going on. It was alot easier to stay active running a small crew actively working on R/D for something new. But times change and I'm still try to figure out the balance. Add all the pressure of these trying times living in a 2A dependant business I find my motivation for being active MIA. Having to shut down the extra businesses I had running was a huge shot to my motivation.

-So I built a range on the edge of the property mainly to increase my engagement with the main business. It even has an old machine box as a house to shoot from and collect brass. Reloading supplies are an easy write off so I was reloading and needed to test loads hence the 10 yard wonder. I need to get some more dirt moved for some more targets. Don't need dry fire when you have live fire. Only thing is it bothers the church behind me some times and my mother's dogs. So enter the suppressor! Problem is only pistol it works on is the Yeet Cannon which sucks.
Putting in for a Form1 is my next step.
Then I'll need rack just for cans.
I tried helping and encouraging you brother……. All I hear are excuses to spend more money on gear and products that won't help you build skills. Good luck in life, I hope you find the gold and the end of your rainbow. 🤦‍♂️

-edit- was just look to share a silly video shooting some of the most ridiculous suppressor combos I had. Lots of frustration right now.

Advice taken, thank you.

I enjoyed your videos buddy. So, yeah, your grip might be "unconventional", amateurish even, but so what? Watch some videos, get some training if you want, but keep shooting! It looks like you're having fun and that's what the shooting sports are all about. Shooting on your own range?? That's what dreams are made of! Don't let frustration, or internet experts, rob you of that joy.

Really just shoot for boredom relief.
I'm learning a little here and there about better grips and better trigger control.
A traditional hammer fired pistol is way different that the glock appliance trigger.
The glock seems to require absolute control the 5 mile pull to not pull off target. It's a skill in its own right. I shoot better with the short G21 slide? It tell me I'm doing something wrong.

That first shot with a Glock can be a bugger. Long and heavy. With your subsequent shots learn to feel the 'reset' of the trigger. As you release the trigger you will feel a slight 'click'. Stop your release there and press the trigger again. It will feel as close to a single action feel as a Glock can. It will WAY improve your follow up shot(s) accuracy.

There's a reason some folks love Glocks, and others hate em'. That's true of many firearms. Keep at it, with a smile on your face. I envy the hell out of ya! 😁

I pretty much always lived in the sticks with no city ordinances so every house eventually got a "range" even if its 10 yards.
My father was the equipment operator / dirt mover. I can drive the tractor and sure I could figure out the excavator but I'm waiting for somebody to run the shovel while I do the loader. I'd like more berm and more lane width off to the left. above is just storage buildings and we're pretty far down the hill.
