Ruger Max-9 (no optics) . Gold Dot 124gr JHP +P.. Sometimes pocket, more often IWB. It's definitely got "battle rattle" to spare, but I really can't complain much about that little gun, except it doesn't feel very substantial.

Occasionally the Tisas 1911-style 4.25" barrel...same ammo.

Will very likely add the Sig P365XL to the small pistol bucket soon....just haven't had a chance to go shopping. There's a plain P365 in stock at my local Bi-Mart for cheap enough, but I want to hold out for the XL model.

Oh, this is an older thread....I dunno, it just showed up on my "Alerts" thing, for some reason.

Both IWB @ 4pm

@j_tour - does the Max-9 kick much with 124gr+P?

Yeah, you could call it "snappy"!

That and among other things about it, I only run through the carry ammunition a little bit. It's not a comfortable thing you'd want to mag dump or do Mozambiques for ten hours a day with.

The Ruger is fine with Winchester white box 115gr....not going to win any awards for Annie Oakley shooting, but for ringing steel, it's not that unpleasant to shoot.
