"My" truck has a real gun rack. My wife's truck is a 4 door and the way it's built a traditional rifle rack won't work and she has something similar to the rack shown by the OP. Her's is fabric and has a couple of large loops (on each back) that a hold a long gun fairly well.
Fortunately for my wife, her husband knows which end of the scope to place forward.
