We want to host the seminars you'll actually show up for—not just another PowerPoint. Help us build the ultimate lineup by weighing in on these topics:

The Skills & Gear
  • The YouTube Gap: What's the one skill you've tried to learn online but still haven't mastered in person?
  • Hands-On Pro Check: If we brought in a pro to troubleshoot your shot placement or calling, would you bring your own gear for a 1-on-1 check?
  • New Tech vs. Tradition: Are you more into "new-school" tech (thermal, digital optics, e-scouting) or "old-school" traditions (traditional archery, building your own gear)?
The Harvest
  • The Breakdown: Would you attend a live field dressing and meat processing demo if we had a professional butcher on site?
  • Beyond the Grill: How much interest is there in advanced wild game cooking (curing, sausage making, etc.)?
The Logistics
  • Deep Dive vs. Quick Hit: Do you prefer a 3-4 hour Saturday workshop or a 60-minute weeknight session?
  • The Family Factor: What would make this a "must-attend" for your whole family? (e.g., youth-specific tracks or kids' activities).

I assume this is hunting oriented. To me the main thing is the proposed ban on hunting. They've raised $270,000. Everything else related to hunting is the tiniest fraction of a % in terms of importance imo. Personally any time spent by anyone should be spent on fighting this first. Otherwise there will be no hunting so nothing else re hunting will even matter.

Not in OR, but if there was a "hunting for dummies" session to introduce newbies to the fundamentals of it, that would probably be useful to widen your audience. Most folks I know who hunt have had that passed on through family tradition - their dad or granddad or uncle or family friend taught them, that sort of thing. For someone who doesn't come from a hunting family like myself but is interested in learning, a session designed to level-set expectations and provide some basic how-to resources would be very helpful.

That's great feedback!

We have a good thread going on iFish about this, I will post a new thread here - we were waiting to be able to post as a newbie to Northwest Firearms.

Would love to see something like this. I've always wanted to learn to hunt. I come from a family of fisherman so I never learned how to hunt. The basic concept of simple - shoot an animal. But how the heck do I dress the animal after shooting it? I heard many years ago that the OHA was trying to create a program where experienced hunters can basically take an apprentice hunter out on their first hunt and teach them the ropes.

To draw in family/kids. We have a portable BB gun range. We set it up for the sportsman show and a few other events throughout the year. We use it as a fundraiser for the bbgun program in forest grove.
