Why is that?

It's not specific to this site. Too much tribalism and the destruction of principles in our country. We'd all be better off if we could deal with one fact of life: What you judge in others is really about something unresolved in yourself. Probably why the lesson of "Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone" used to resonate in our culture. Now, we're on each other like a pack of rabid dogs, at the slightest disagreement. I used to think the 2A community was above the debasement of principles, but I no longer do. I believe our Founding Fathers would find us severely lacking. So, all of that shows up here, like everywhere else.
