This case is Lake City 5.56 that I gleaned out due to this weird marking I have never seen before. At first I thought it was the brass hanging on for dear life not wanting to separate, but when I cut it open all I saw was the indentation from the outside. It almost looks like a roll crimp used on pistol rounds to prevent bullet set-back, but then my mind ran with it and now it's a mark left from being in a mini-gun belt
. Any wisdom?
