I wish I had waited for the left hand to get to the store!
I would trade up for a left handed 300 win mag. Perhaps trade for a left handed 257 Weatherby.
Shoulders well, very forgiving pad on the buttstock, really like the trigger. I have packed this rifle up and down the coast range. I have taken it to the range several times. I don't even bother with the 100 yard target. The rifle has exactly 40 rounds down range. What it does to a coyote is amazing!!
Talley medium rings will stay with the rifle, I lapped the rings to this gun. I mounted a 50mm scope and it just lets a dollar slide between the scope and barrel. Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10 x 50mm
The downside is that the barrel rubs the stock. I should have shaved off the stock a little, but I didn't. The rubbing took off a little bluing and caused some coastal rain to rust the surface. See pictures. I ran a bore snake through it after every trip so the bore is still pristine.
I have 4 boxes of Weatherby factory ammunition that I will sell after the rifle sells if purchased without them. I also have some reloads as components.
$425 rifle and rings.
$600 with scope.
$800 with the scope, ammunition, and brass.
