I dropped a note to TC today to see if you can still get parts from them. if not, I would think you could fit one from a Pedersoli or a Traditions to the lock. It might take a little file work.

Well, being retired and not much else going on these days(being Winter here in K'Falls) I just thought to give it a shot and see what they say. I built a .50 cal Hawken T/C in the early 1970's. Shot a good as most centerfire rifles I have owned. Sorry now that I let myself get talked out of it back then,

So it's been a few weeks and TC has not contacted me, my guess is they don't have the parts or don't want to sell them.
Probably a good reason to look for a different firearm.
