Vortex UH-1 Gen 2 Hands-On

I'm looking to find a shop that has the Huey in-stock so I can compare it to the EXPS2-0; my 61 year old eyes see a holographic reticle much better than a red dot. I've read good things about the Vortex, but my brain is full now and I just need to look through one before I decide. Anyone know where I might find one near Seattle? Thanks

I have the exps2-0 and the Huey. They both are pretty much the same. The view port on the Huey is bigger but the eotech seems brighter slightly

Thanks, I ended up just buying a Huey from Cabela's. I think they're all gone for now. Looking forward to some range time.

Did your eyes notice a difference? Mine didn't really

I had both, the reticle seemed the same. I have astigmatism and the only crystal clear reticles I experience are etched prism optics

I agree. I just kinda like the eotech a bit more purely on the looks

I run EOTech 512s, UH-1 Gen 1s and red dots. I dislike prism.

I have astigmatism as well. Holosights do not cause me problems but I also don't focus on the reticle. Look through it like you are supposed to and it is magical!

Most red dots smear, streak or starburst for me.
