I will try to weigh it tomorrow as for the age of the barrel I got it from a elderly gentleman who bought it years ago from his friends grandfather so it's really quite old I would say however the gentleman who had it said that he only shot it three times a year once to site in the rifle once to confirm that it was on and once to shoot his bull elk.

But to look down the rifling it looks really good it's in great shape
