So I just decommissioned 200 new steel 30 Carbine rounds and am trying to figure out how dispose of them. Normally I would pull the primers out and toss them in a cup with WD-40, but there is no way I can get these out conventionally. Looking for ideas.

To answer any potential questions, I will not shoot steel out of my new chamber so I do not need the ammo. Also, trying to sell ammo in CA is out of the question.

I've done it hydraulically on various different size berdan primed cases via some backyard engineering. I sit the case on top of a hex nut that has a big enough hole for the primer to drop into, but still supports the rim. Fill the case full of water, use a wooden or plastic dowel that's a snug fit / slightly oversized and whack it with a hammer. Sometimes it takes a few fill and whacks but sometimes it goes the first try.

Toss them in a camp fire, liven up the joint!!
This is the way!!! Just make sure no one sees you do it, trust me, it's better that way!!! True story here, I saved a guy from getting married doing this. I started tossing primers in one by one, she asked me wtf I was doing, told her I was tossing live 22lr ammo in. She flew off the handle and said some very inappropriate things, he told her to calm down and I was messing with her. Well, that didn't go very well and they ended it right there, saved him a life of misery with that wench. I'm sure alcohol wasn't a factor or anything like that, but it's a bit fuzzy and was over twenty years ago.
