Not trying to be a smartass, but I'm wondering what you would have shot at with this ammo? Bears/predators when being charged at or just target practice/a reliability check? Every time I buy Underwood it sits in my ammo cans & never gets shot because it's around $1+/rd in every caliber.

No worries! I was investing in 10mm at the time and wanted a selection of rounds for self defense from humans in the city, cougars / bear when out hunting / fishing. Put a box of each through the glock 20 to make sure it functions, loaded a couple mags, and the rest sat.
Ended up settling on one round; their 200gr xtp loading at 1250 fps. Enough for all threat foreign and domestic here in the PNW.

Great analysis! I have a Glock 29 Gen 4 (my only 10MM pistol), and couldn't agree more: in Western WA & OR the biggest predators we will face are black bear or cougars, so that 200gr XTP would definitely get the job done against those. Now, if we were in Alaska you might want to run 220gr hard cast just in case the 200gr XTP isn't enough to bust through the skull of a Kodiak Grizzly bear.
