Interesting. Shades of the Barami Hip Grip.
They don't say, but I imagine these are hard, not rubbery like a Hogue. Having the pebble texture has to be a great improvement over the slippery boot grips I have (and don't use). I like that he talks about shaping to fit and shows his mod.
I could see having a set on a pocket carry gun.

That Kydex pocket holster with the windows cut into it looks like a great idea. 👍

For me.....
I'd PASS on the hooked version.

That being said.....
The non hooked version looks OK. So then, if you don't have one already.....IMHO, get a good leather holster (strong side, outside the waist band, with safety hammer release snap) that's how I roll.

My son is the one, who likes kydex holsters.

Cough, cough....

Aloha, Mark

They are great grips. Puts the sights right on target out of the holster, and I use both of the AFR holsters daily.

The hooked version is not a gimmick, as some might think. They work really well and the revolver stays secure.

I received them about 2 weeks ago, and went out on my range the same night with the car lights and tested them.
Love the shootability of them. Presented the 432 UC from the AFR/Bulman appendix holster and instantly the sights are on target, and the ease of drawing from the AFR/Bulman pocket holster was perfect.
The grips fill the hand as they should, and handle recoil great. I've been using the old Taurus Model 85 grips, that fill the hand and cover the backstrap, and they fit the need and worked well...but no more, found my new grips.

They are not rubber, but not 100% hard either...some kind of new compound.

What sights are on that gun?

That's a S&W 432 UC 32 Magnum, they come with XS front night sight.

If any of the S&W revolvers have a pinned front sight, XS makes a replacement for it.

I have a 340 PD that I replaced with one of those, great improvement.

That's cool, but it's the rear sight that caught my eye.

Do you like them quite a bit better than the "High Horn" VZ G10 grips it came with?
I was thinking about getting a set from VZ but now I'm leaning towards these AFR grips.

Don't know the origin of the rear sight, but have seen a few gunsmiths installing them for people on S&W Centennial models.
As stated the front sight is from XS, the rear sight was designed by the UC S&W team. From the XS blog…

The UC J-frame team decided on one of our 2nd generation Standard Dot Tritium front sights with a glow ring surrounding the tritium lamp. The front sight is noticeably easier to acquire in any lighting condition. The color was modified from the standard green we use to be a bit lighter. It's a minor change that, unless you see both side by side, is very difficult to identify.

Not satisfied with just upgrading the front sight, the UC team also addressed the rear sight. They decided to use a drift-adjustable rear sight designed by S&W's team. The new rear sight offers a vastly improved sight picture compared to the original grooved top strap. Additionally, it has the advantage of allowing for windage adjustments to be made, that are not possible on other J-frame models which have the fixed rear sight notch, while still retaining a very low profile.

Yes. Am finding most people are ditching the VZs off the UC revolvers.

If you're interested, PM me and I'll send them to you to try. If you like them, make a reasonable offer.

They were never carried. Shot with them one time, switched to the OEM S&W boot grips, then swapped to the Taurus because they covered the backstrap and gave a fuller grip.

Ryan is a class act. I tried the hooked one not totally sure its for me. Requested a right panel...delivered fast and cheap. Hes awesome..ask for the other panel if you're unsure.
