Sold!
First: Maverick 88. chopped barrel, some kind of cheapo shroud on it. Front pistol grip is a little wobbly (cheap plastic). Top folding stock. Really smooth, clean action. Took it out and ran about 15 rounds through it to test it and feel the action and make sure the wobbly front grip wasnt an issue, works great.
Second: This was gonna be my keeper of the two, but this is a prime example of why NOT to loan your guns to others.
Maverick 88. Chopped barrel, with an adjustable choke on it. The stock is smaller than normal (Teen Sized is what i was told). Metal has wearing, this was a truck gun. Took it out and I ran about 20 rounds through it no problem. Then I let a friend take it out for a walk in the field. After the first round, the slide arm broke when pulling the slide forward. Other than that, it's in great condition.
Pics should hopefully speak for themselves.
Looking to trade both for a good handgun.
