Just put a set of trijicon XD night sights on my Glock 43X. I'm fairly disappointed with the lack brightness and low light and dark situation. They are very small dots so I'm not sure if that's the issue. Just purchased a Glock 48 MOS version. Seriously, thinking about a red dot and what night sights to go along with the red dot any and all recommendations would be appreciated

I never run night sights with a RDS. I go blacked out with sights, RDS, and weapon light.

In fact I don't run night sights at all anymore.

Which RDS are you running?
Currently a Holosun EPS (not the carry version although they have the same foot print) on my 43X

Ok is that the 43X? Sorry for all the questions just very new to the RDS game as funny as that sounds.
Yea it's a 43X with a PMM micro comp. The 43X MOS and the 48 MOS both have the same foot print. Depending on what optic you choose you may have to get an adapter plate.

Yeah, my 43X is the non-MOS version. I could've got the 43X in the MOS version today but I decided to go with the 48. Hope that was a good choice. It feels good in hand.

I'll be getting a 48 MOS shortly as well. My wife has the standard 48. It's a joy to shoot.

I know this is a non Glock question. But I asked today at the gun store why M&P mags are so hard to fine they said because the after effects of Covid are still affecting some companies. But I would think a company that runs right up there and popularity for their polymer handgun would have more mags available than what they do. Not to mention the Glock mags are cheaper.

I have no answers for that. I don't run that platform personally.
