I have a Stevens Browning patent 12 gauge shotty for sale. Great platform to build a trench gun if you are so inclined and don't want to pay the high price of an original or replica. Would also make a great addition to a get home bag.

This gun was manufactured between 1909 and 1913/14 according to this site Stevens 520 and 520A Identification Guide | Gun Values Board

  • Overall fair condition
  • Slam fires by design. The gun will fire when the slide is forward without pulling the trigger again. Hold down the trigger and pump away.
  • I fired about 25 rounds both low brass and buckshot with no malfunctions
  • The metal is good with no big problems
  • The stock is original but looks like someone refinished it and added a Pachmeyer recoil pad
  • There is an engraved a ID number near the loading port
  • The barrel has been cut to 20"
  • This gun has no serial number as far as the gubmint is concerned but there are manufacturer's numbers under the stock, on the barrel assembly and on the trigger group, they all match.
Note: This model has an unusual feature. On later models, the slide releases when the hammer drops. This one has an inertial slide that operates on recoil.

$200 cash and we split the FFL fee. Anything else and you pay it.

Text me at 502-351-5091 and I will get back to you promptly.

I am open to full or part trades for ammo (steel case OK)

Cool piece of history right there , every one of my 94 year old grampas guns have his drivers license number engraved somewhere on them by hand. Old timers, we will miss them when they are gone!
