I've done a bit of searching but haven't exactly found what I'm looking for.

Looking to possibly build a 10/22 or use an existing one for suppressed target shooting. Threaded bull barrel is fine.

I've read Kidd, TAC Sol and Volquartzen are top notch. Is there a huge price difference between them? If so, does the price difference give a better grouping build?

Are there different thread pitch's for suppressed .22s?

Then I suppose I'll probably have to look at stocks too. Never ends I suppose.

All ears!
Thanks in advance!

All threaded 22LR barrels (handgun and rifle) I have except for one CZ 452 are threaded 1/2x28. I don't have much recent experience on threaded 10/22 barrels; I haven't owned a 10/22 in some time.

I have a newish TAC Sol 16" barrel that is fine. Set up with a muzzle can and NV. It is neither extraordinarily accurate nor inaccurate. It has functioned well so far, mostly Minimags or CCI Std Vel, maybe 500 rds. I've also run Eley Biathlon and SK Pistol Match and some PMC Scoremaster, didn't cycle reliably with the SK. I settled on Eley Biathlon for best accuracy but CCI Std Vel was nearly as good. About 3/5 hits on 4" steel at 200 yds sometimes more sometimes less. Has settled the accounts of a few nutria out to 100 yds. Complete satisfaction so far, about 3-4 months in and probably 500 rds or so thru it.
