I would not call that a mock dissipator since it looks like a Bushy.

AFAI recall the name dissipator was first was first used by Bushmaster for carbine gas system plus the FSB.

The Colt 605 used rifle gas and was not called a dissipator…. Until more recently, through what appears to be faulty logic.

In my mind the true dissy is the Bushmaster. The Colt 605 is…. A Colt 605, despite that some think it is thre original dissy.
