Oh, I'm gonna hafta disagree with you here. It's not always bad. Many years ago, my dad and I were shooting at a nice four point buck moving smartly across a clear cut. After his second shot, he started swearing up a blue streak. Turns out, his empty case flipped 180 degrees and landed back in the action and jammed his rifle. Once the competition had been eliminated, the pressure was off and I calmly laid that buck down on my next shot.Most importantly, it won't fall back into the action and cause a jam when trying to follow up.
