No, what the said in the video was, to paraphrase, that an American flag on a house is a dead giveaway that racist white people live there. The flag itself wasn't being called racist, just a sign that racist people live in said building. Probably because it's usually conservatives that fly American flags and conservatives are stereotyped as racist. You can't convince me places that want control don't watch video like those people blaming every poor choice they have ever made on their race and think things are looking great for them. Those people grow up being told as kids that everyone is out to get them and keep them down. So then they don't take advantage of the great things they have to choose from. Instead they do nothing and want to be wealthy. Worse even those who actually do take advantage of things offered them and do become well off? They also tell these same people they have no chance in life because of their skin color. Multi millionaires the same skin color tell them they can't do the same thing they did and they follow right along and do nothing but complain. The worst part is they then ask government to "assist them". Gov is all too happy to do so. Just give up some more freedom and we will take care of you. It becomes a mental disorder and you can no longer reach them.
Just pass a few more gun laws to protect yourself from those who will harm you and you will live in utopia. Amazing to see it happen.

A shocking number of people really do believe that. That the county they live in, with more freedom than most could have imagined not long ago, is a horrible place. Really sad to watch generation after generation grow up being told this to the point they believe it. If they one day get to see what its really like to be a subject they will only be getting what they asked for sadly. Best part is the ones who watch this happen and just pretend its not happening. Its all a big joke to them because they don't want to believe its happening right before their eyes. You see a lot of that here. Whistling past the graveyard telling themselves all is great.

One big problem with DEI is that it undermines (or more accurately, outlaws) meritocracy. Advancement is to be determined by a scoreboard of traits determined by supposed prior discrimination, rather than merit (quality of performance, past an present) so that "underrepresented" sectors of the community are advanced regardless of performance.

This is a continuation of what I call the "Penny Harrington Effect." Harrington rose through the ranks of the Portland Police Department by aggressively pushing gender discrimination complaints. She was appointed Chief of the Portland Police Bureau in January of 1985, and failed so dramatically that she was removed 17 months later. Both the appointment and removal were done by the very liberal Bud Clark administration.

Of course, she sued over the dismissal, claiming sexual discrimination! Her lack of performance was glossed over at a national level, where her dismissal was portrayed as backlash against a female leader.
