From watching the latest State Supreme Court arguments, I don't think any part of 114 will hold up!

I know Bill and Tony on the Washington Gunlaw YouTube channel had a good discussion of it and their sense of how they think it will go, but I'm a little more optimistic amd believe the court will strike it ALL down in agreement with both Tony's arguments as well as Judge Rashios ruling! I just don't see the state being able to defend any of it against those two, but we will have to wait as fast as we can to see what they decide!

Don't forget, even if we loose, even a part of it, the Fed case still sits before the Ninth, and we also have other Mag ban cases going up to SCOTUS, so there is still hope!

I love the optimism, but i still think everyone should prepare for the worst possible outcome

This is my take on the matter, too. This case is being decided by a court comprised entirely of Kate Brown appointees, with the ideological commitment to civilian disarmament to match. No matter how optimistic I want to be, I just don't see this court deciding this case in a way that strikes down 114. We all know the state constitution should ensure this measure dies. But none of that matters when cases are decided on an ideological, rather than legal basis.

Ultimately I do as well and have been saying this since Judge Rashios ruling.

I don't believe the proponents of 114 saw all the other negative 'side effects' it WILL cause and probably realized this 'after the fact' and are looking (hoping) for a way out. Kotex no doubt saw this as well and therefore 243 was created as a 'fail safe' IF 114 is overturned.

SO, to 'save face' the 'system' has to go through the motions, play the game and ultimately IF (big IF) it gets overruled then they can say 'well, we tried' and they quietly back out and let it go.

If the gun haters were all about safety & security they wouldn't be putting in laws to prohibit conceal carry in public places to oppose crime and would see the need for mag cap reduction as irresponsible given the reduction in shootings in recent years ........

They just used the plandemic to usher in their radical overreach .
