Tell me about the French Mas......

Very hard hitting cartridge with adequate milsurp battle rifle accuracy. The triggers are crude, much like an Arisaka but a solid rifle. Seen recently in Syria doing what they were made to do (not being dropped). They do have an all business look to them except the ringed sling hoop. That looks like it belongs on a zippered turtle neck sweater.

I know I'm quite late to this thread, but wondering if anyone here knows where I'd be able to find a Mas36 without burning a ridiculous amount of money on gunbroker? Interested in getting one with the bayonet but I'm sure I'll be fine either way.
