Well, Folks, here it is. 1944-build K31 in 7.5x55v Swiss with an old Weaver scope and Swiss Products of Kalispell MT's latest baby - the Over-Bore Mount [aka OBM]. Priced at $145.00 and totally Made in America. See SP's website for details. There is also some special deal going if you already have the old clamp-on mount, but you'll need to read that up - my other has a basic x4 K4 scopes on it.

1. Fitted the scope in my QR mounts.

2. Went to range this morning and bore-sighted it.

3. Fired first two two shots - not too shabby - high, as expected due to OBH of scope.

4. Using the one-shot zero-ing method, as taught by dad sometime in the 60's, made elevation corrections to shoot two inches high, loaded up six rounds and fired for effect.

5. The effect @100m.

6. DING!

7. Azimuth correction next time. That was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun!

Are you still able to get GP11 ammunition where you are at?
The last GP11 we had over here in UK was 2010. That was 1978 stuff, selling at a dollar a shot back then.

PPU IS available here, but I carried out a test a couple of years back with our new LabRadar chronos and found it ~200fps slower than GP11 in most everything we shot it through. I's also about $120/C.

I reload for everything except .22LR. I also cast for my BPCR and m/l's.
