Watching here as I too have been wondering. Mine is in 44Mag and has a golden dot on the front sight, it's useable as is but very slow to pick up and get on target. I'm thinking about a small scope but prefer open sights.

My Rossi 44 mag came with pretty tall sights that I assume Rossi figures will work with suppressor. When I screw my hybrid 46 can on and look through sights, the top of front sight is about even with top of suppressor. It will work, but slightly taller would work better. The front sight is already pretty goofy tall so I will live with it. I will measure sight height and post later. If one had a can with smaller diameter than the hybrid, the height of sighs would be ideal. Hybrid can diameter is 1.57" I believe.

Red dot is way more convenient than a scout scope for casual plinking and a lot lighter. Get a solar backup model Holosun with the dot in the circle.
If you need exact shot placement over 100yds ie hunting, realize the trajectory you are dealing with; most scout scopes with holdover marks are meant for 223/308, not 44mag.

Thanks, after searching this is the way I'll go. I have a spare dot someplace, I was just wanting to keep iron sights as an 'traditional' option.. although the suppressor kinda blows that aesthetic out of the water 🤷🏻‍♂️

Decided to go with a Primary Arms SLX 1x prism. Relief is perfect where its at with a cheek weld. Etched reticle so if the battery dies I'm not helpless. Now all I need is a small loop lever
