I'm 74 years old and paralyzed for 53 years. I have decided to reduce my rifle inventory to short barrel 20-22in, lighter weight 6 to 7 lbs., bolt action, 2.5 to 3.5 lb. trigger pull. I would be willing to trade for bolt action rifle (only) in 6.5 PRC, 243 Win, 223 Rem and or lever 30-30.
With regrets my first rifle will be $750. Model 70 super Grade 300 Win Mag, 26-inch blued barrel, and guessing 500+- round down the barrel. Nicely figured wood.
It has a 3.5x10x50 AO Leupold/ring/rail for additional $275.
You would be able to come to my private rifle range, shoot and check out functional and accuracy of my rifle.
