The below link explains everything perfectly. This is a mini Laser aiming module. It's IR, and meant for using with night vision, you won't see the laser beam.
It's very new, I've only used it a couple of times. The reality is my PVS 14 is not high enough quality to use a LAM without some supplemental illumination.
This unit would be best on some sort of predator rifle, or a very compact SBR/pistol. It would be great on a .22 pest gun but I don't have a setup like that right now.
