I looked around a bit, and handled some GP100’s with a 6” barrel. They were too front-heavy for my old hand. But the 5” felt just right.
I bought one, and killed a few deer with it. Then some project (or other firearm) needed cash, and I sold the revolver to a fellow through NWFA. But it was a gun I wanted to replace, and before too long I bought another 5” model from a fellow who was deployed at the time. His wife handled the transaction. I believe they were raising money for a new barn.
I still have that one, and don’t think I’ll ever sell it. I reckon the only way to improve the balance of this revolver is to have one in each hand - so I’m looking for another one.
