OP - You can get a 308 barrel from Black Hole in the neighborhood of $300 that is every bit as accurate as the expensive barrels listed above. Their barrels are Stainless steel with a nitride coating and use polygonal rifling like the high end Noveske barrels.

Depending upon the application you ate after, what that can mean is that there is less parody between bore temp, and exterior temp.
