This one has been in my collection for a while, I can't remember when I bought it, but it was probably 15 years ago at least. I never really think about resale value, I modify tools to work well for me. That said, some of the mods on this one weren't done with the utmost visual concern. With that out of the way, I can say that I love this gun, I'm just consolidating calibers and don't need a 45acp in the mix.
I filed the grip down to make grip tape adhere more smoothly, currently it does not have grip tape on it because the last iteration was blue skateboard tape and honestly it was hideous. I also filed/blended the mag well to the frame and never bothered trying to repaint the flare.
The interesting part about this gun is the 460 Rowland kit. It's a cool concept if anyone cares to read into it. The comp helps out noticeably, but this one never ran well with 460 ammo. It cycles 45acp great and I like the extended barrel so I haven't bothered switching it back to the factory barrel. Not sure on a round count pre/post, but total there's north of 1k rounds through the gun for sure, maybe more, I used to shoot this on a lot.
Includes 3 factory mags with +2 base plates, the factory barrel, and the remainder of the 460 ammo that I have. I don't have the box or anything else anymore.
Not sure where to price this one, if you think I'm unreasonably high, please tell me. Open to offers and trades, not sure what I want/need at the moment, but it never hurts to send a message. Maybe ammo (9mm/10mm/223/12ga/44mag)
Located in Bend, I like Deschutes Arms, but willing to meet at your favorite Central Oregon FFL.
