I'm having trouble finding a 5" Springfield Mil-Spec at any of the LGS... When I wasn't looking for one I could find them everywhere but not anymore. What gives? I can find G.I.'s, usually labeled Mil-Spec G.I. (why can't gun shops get that a Mil-Spec and a G.I. are 2 different models)? Anyway...

    Rant over.

No kidding. It hacks me off when I do a Gunbroker search and find they are all GI "mil spec" models instead. I finally got a used Mil-Spec off GB... good luck.
