I bought this from a member on this forum several years ago and have put less than 40 rounds through it. The majority being on the target in the picture. At some point a previous owner carved their initials in the stock, so I sanded it out and stained the rifle. I am not much of a shooter, but this rifle helps and a better shooter could do very well I am sure.
The target pictured was shot at 100 yds a combination sitting at a bench using a sand bag, standing, prone and sitting. Ammo - Milsurp HXP.
I believe the build date is 1928 and the barrel is stamped 11-28 near the front sight.
No cartouches on the stock, I think it was a replacement stock at some time in its life. The leather sling I am sure is aftermarket.
Looking to get $975.00
Or $1,200 if you want the 1915 USGI bayonet and 1908 scabbard. The scabbard has some brown stains and I don't know if it's tan paint or something else.
Muzzle and throat gauge very good. Lots of life left in this barrel with a throat ready of about 3.0-3.2 and muzzle .3015.
Open to trades, but looking mostly for cash and cash buyers will have priority until a deal is made.
Part Trades:
9mm
M2 Ball .30-06
.308
.22lr
Firearm interests:
old pump action .22lr, target bolt action .22lr. Other firearms considered, but I need to walk away with some cash.
Please send offers, trades, etc. via pm.
Prefer using Adaptive Firing Solutions for FFL transfer as he has the best price around and is flexible
Thank you
