WTS: Springfield model 1898 bolt action 30-40 Krag. I believe this rifle to be all original and in VERY good condition. I know little about these but have sent pictures to some folks that do and had a knowledgeable gentleman look at it personally with the same opinion. Serial number puts it at 1899 make. Bore is excellent and most of the bluing is still on the receiver. I have searched the internet researching this rifle and this one is as nice or nicer than any I saw. Try to sell locally before posting on GI as shipping would be a pain.
