Very, very nice rifle. Excellent bore. Goodwin style tang sight. If you aren't familiar with these sights, they are known not only for quality and ease of use, but if you are shooting cast bullets, you can swab the bore between shots without touching the sight settings. Pretty neat. Looks impressive too!. Take $300 off if you buy it without the sights. Barrel is marked ".30 U.S.". If you don't have any, I can include dies and brass. Much more fun than those boring black rifles. A piece of our history! Dates to 1900, so will require official transferring. Luckily, our local dealer is great to work with (Lincoln City Sporting Goods).
